The MCSNR/L tool holder with a 45° approach angle is a powerful turning holder for longitudinal and face turning with CN.. indexable carbide inserts in rhombic 80° geometry. The combination of a shallow approach angle, a robust negative insert, and lever clamping makes this turning tool a stable solution when high depths of cut with consistent cutting performance are required. The 45° approach angle distributes cutting forces equally between the axial and radial directions, utilising a particularly long contact zone on the main cutting edge. This stabilises the cutting process at high depths of cut and reduces the localised cutting edge load – less wear per pass means longer tool life. The lever clamping system generates high clamping forces, holding the CN insert securely even under heavy cutting conditions, while leaving the rake face completely clear – a key factor for unobstructed operation when chip cross-sections vary. The rhombic 80° negative insert provides four usable cutting edges and a stable cutting geometry that works reliably even during interrupted cuts and varying stock allowances. Right-hand and left-hand versions ensure the holder fits into any machining strategy.
The MCSNR/L is recommended for workshops that want to combine the advantages of a 45° angle with the load capacity of a CN insert and lever clamping in longitudinal and face turning – particularly where high depths of cut and stable processes are essential.

Klemmt rautenförmige Platten zuverlässig, Schnittbild passt bei Längsarbeit.

Sauber gearbeitet
Schneller Versand und die Ware passt. Sauberer Drehspan, ordentliche Schärfe und ordentliche Härte. Kein nerviges Gequietsche wie bei manchen anderen Werkzeugen. Gerne wieder.

Klemmhalter MCSNR 45 Grad bewährt
Der Halter für die Platten mit 45-Grad-Einstellung verteilt die Schnittkräfte bei großen Durchmessern gleichmäßig und bringt in 42CrMo4 konstante Standzeit.

Halter für Plandrehen mit strammer Klemmung
45° für Plandrehen, Klemmung stramm. Halter sitzt zentriert im Revolver, Rundlauf ist sauber. Für Plan- und leichte Schruppaufgaben ein verlässliches Werkzeug.

Solider Drehstahl mit 45 Grad
Einstellwinkel 45° ist für Plandrehen mit hoher Zustellung wirklich klasse. Der Halter wirkt massiv, die Klemmung hält sicher und alles läuft sauber auch bei zähen Werkstoffen.

Der Halter 45 Grad kräftig
Für Längsdrehen mit den Platten in 16MnCr5 bewährt sich der Halter, Plattenklemmung sitzt fest. Habe es auf der Index G220 eingesetzt, passt. Bin zufrieden. Habe die Werkzeugausführung mehreren Kollegen in der Werkstatt empfohlen, die Rückmeldungen waren durchweg positiv, besonders die Werkzeugstandzeit im harten Serieneinsatz wird häufig hervorgehoben.

Guter Halter für Schwerzerspanung
Belastbarer 45°-Halter, schafft kräftige Zustellungen. Nehme ich bei schweren Reparaturarbeiten an Wellen. Sitz ist fest, keine Wanderung.

Vielseitig im Werkzeugbau
Ich fahre den Klemmhalter auf unserer Okuma LB3000 beim Schruppen und Schlichten an Werkzeugrohlingen aus 42CrMo4. Der Sitz ist sauber, die Platten wechseln sich ohne Gefummel und die Klemmung lockert sich auch nach längeren Läufen nicht. Für diese Preisklasse wirklich überzeugend.
