SP Indexable Drills | SP Insert Family

TILL TOOLS SP indexable drills are designed for inserts in the SP family, including SPMT, SPMG and SPGT. Different diameters, drilling depths and body versions are available depending on the design. The square SP inserts provide several usable cutting edges and are selected to suit the workpiece material and application.

Internal coolant delivers coolant directly into the hole and supports chip transport through the flutes. The body remains in use when the cutting edge is changed; only the indexable insert is indexed or replaced. SP and WC systems differ in insert shape and seat and are therefore not interchangeable.

Check the drill diameter, drilling depth and complete SP insert designation. For a stable process, the drill holder, runout, workpiece clamping and coolant supply must suit the selected version. Product pages provide available dimensions, designs and further technical data for comparing the correct version.
