Threading Insert ISO Metric
Threading Insert ISO Metric is the full-profile thread turning insert for 60° threads at metric ISO pitches. The pre-profiled cutting edge brings the thread profile and tip radius to the workpiece in a single pass and ensures high profile accuracy even on multiple passes.
The ER variant covers external threads, IR the internal application; the pitch is insert-specific and is selected according to the required ISO standard. The uncoated or PVD-coated cutting edge is matched to clean flanks at fine pitches – important because the full profile leaves no profile correction allowance. The negative insert geometry secures a robust seat in the thread tool holder, and insert changes require no readjustment.
For ISO metric threads with a requirement for high profile accuracy and a process-reliable cutting profile, the full-profile threading insert is the established solution in job shop production.

Gewinde sauber
Metrisches Vollprofil, Flanken werden sauber. Für M-Standardgewinde brauchbar, kein Ausreißen der Gewindegänge.

Gewindeplatten metrisch gut
Für metrische Gewinde in 42CrMo4 liefern die Platten saubere Flanken, Standzeit ordentlich. Langfristige Erfahrung mit vergleichbaren Marken, hier nichts schlechter.

Gewindeplatten funktionieren
Metrische Gewinde in Stahl gelingen sauber, Flankenform ist gleichmäßig und keine ausgefransten Kanten.

Metrische Gewinde sauber geschnitten
Außengewinde in Stahl und Edelstahl gehen mit den Platten sauber durch die Lehre. Auch bei 1.4301 keine Ausbrüche oder Schäden am Gewinde.

Gewindeplatten präzise
Die Flanken des metrischen Gewindes kommen definiert, das Steigungsmaß passt und auch bei gehärteteren Werkzeugstählen bleibt das Maß stabil. Für unsere Werkzeugbau-Gewinde eine sehr gute Wahl.

Metrisches Gewinde läuft sauber
Flanken werden präzise, für Gewinde bis M24 im Stahl perfekt. Die Beschichtung hält ordentlich. Werde weitere Steigungen nachbestellen, in M16 und M24 bisher ohne Auffälligkeit.
