Boring Bar MCWNR/L 50°, Indexable Insert Holder
The MCWNR/L boring bar with a 50° approach angle is a powerful tool holder for internal machining – designed for internal longitudinal turning, internal face turning, and contour machining in bores with CNMG, CNGG, and CNMM indexable carbide inserts. Where conventional 90° boring bars reach their limits, the shallower approach angle of this internal turning tool opens up new possibilities for depth of cut and cutting edge stability.
The 50° approach angle distributes cutting forces over a larger cutting edge section and directs a portion of the forces axially towards the shank holder. This noticeably stabilises the cutting process in the bore and allows greater depths of cut per infeed than steeper approach angles. The shank, made from heat-treated tool steel, provides the bending rigidity that at long overhangs makes the difference between a clean surface and chatter marks. The lever clamping system holds the rhombic 80° negative insert securely with high clamping forces while leaving the rake face completely clear – a decisive advantage in internal machining, where limited chip space requires reliable chip evacuation. With CNMG inserts as double-sided negative indexable carbide inserts, four usable cutting edges per insert are available, significantly reducing tooling costs per bore.
A sound choice for workshops that need more depth of cut and process stability in internal machining than is possible with 90° or 75° boring bars – particularly for medium to heavy roughing in larger bore diameters.
Scope of delivery: 1 MCWNR/L boring bar (without indexable carbide insert) incl. washer, pin, clamp, screw, and wrench.

Spezialwinkel 50° sauber verarbeitet
Der 50°-Winkel ist für spezielle Kopierkonturen gut, Bohrstange ist insgesamt sauber verarbeitet. Klemmung ist stabil, Rundlauf unauffällig. Für den Einsatzzweck absolut brauchbar, Plattensitz ist plan gefräst. Bin mit dem Kauf wirklich zufrieden.

Flacher Winkel für sauberes Anschlagen
Der flache Einstellwinkel hilft bei breiten Anschlägen, die Bohrstange bleibt stabil und die Oberfläche kommt ordentlich. Für Kleinserien eine brauchbare Ergänzung in meinem Werkzeugsortiment, die Klemmung hält die Platten fest und der Lauf ist spielfrei.

Hält was es verspricht
Solide Qualität, nichts zu meckern. Ordentliche Härte, ordentliche Standzeit und gleichmäßige Oberfläche. Oberfläche war besser als erst gedacht. Kommt bei mir wieder auf die Liste.

Bohrstange 50 Grad für Spezialkonturen
50-Grad-Bohrstange ist bei bestimmten Innenprofilen echt Gold wert. Klemmung sitzt stramm und die Bearbeitung läuft ruhig durch.

Bohrstange mit 50 Grad Spitze
Extrem spitzwinklig, für innere Hinterschnitte richtig gut. Platte sitzt stabil auch bei großer Auskragung, bin zufrieden. Werde in der nächsten Bestellung weitere Geometrien mitordern.

Bohrstange mit flachem Einstellwinkel
Der 50°-Winkel gibt einen sehr flachen Anschnitt. Für bestimmte Innenkonturen das perfekte Werkzeug. Stabil gebaut, Platte sitzt präzise. Rüsten schnell erledigt.
