The Turning Tool Holder SRDCN is an ISO holder with screw clamping for external turning with positive round indexable inserts of the RC family (RCMT, RCGT). The SRDCN system uses axial screw fixing without top clamps and is designed for profile and contour turning with round insert geometry.
The screw clamping (S system) clamps the insert axially through the centre hole and ensures a precise insert seat through controlled preload. The tempered steel body (40-43 HRc) with black oxide finish is designed for moderate cutting loads. The positive round insert geometry with 7° clearance angle allows almost any number of cutting positions through insert rotation and delivers clean profile contours without harsh transitions. The clamp-free holder head allows a deeper plunge angle and a clear view of the workpiece contour. No explicit R/L definitions as standard.
The SRDCN is the specialised solution for profile and contour turning with positive round inserts (RCMT/RCGT).

Der Halter arbeitet mit runden Wendeplatten zuverlässig, Schnittbild passt beim Profildrehen gut. Klemmung sitzt und auch nach mehreren Wechseln kein Spiel in der Platte.

Halter läuft ruhig
Der Halter macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Für den Einsatz in C45 passt es gut. Kein Rattern, sauberes Schnittbild. Passt so für mich.
