TCMT Indexable Carbide Inserts for Steel
TCMT Indexable Carbide Inserts for Steel are the positive-ground 60° triangular insert of the TC family (TCMT, TCGT) with centre hole and chip breaker for light to medium turning. Three usable cutting edges per insert and the positive 7° clearance angle reduce cutting forces and enable a smooth cutting profile even on machines with limited rigidity.
At long overhangs, on thin-walled workpieces, or with limited machine rigidity, the low cutting force prevents vibrations and dimensional deviations. The integrated chip former keeps the chip in shape even inside the bore, which supports chip evacuation through coolant pressure. The CVD coating with the C1020 grade covers the ISO P range P15–P30. Tolerance class M and centre-hole clamping ensure a reproducible insert seat.
For internal and contour work on steel parts with a requirement for low cutting forces, the TCMT is the universal positive triangular insert.

TCMT Dreikant im Stahl
Dreikant-Platten, sauberer Schnitt in C45. Halten gut durch, die Verarbeitung der Platten ist wertig und der Preis fair. In meiner Fertigung tut das Werkzeug seinen Dienst. Auch nach mehreren Einsätzen zeigen die Platten keine Macken, die Kühlung funktioniert bestens. Insgesamt ein überzeugendes Werkzeug im Alltag.

Dreieck-Platten laufen sauber durch
Für kleinere Passungen an Stahl-Einzelstücken gut geeignet. Kante hält, keine Ausbrüche, Oberfläche kommt zufriedenstellend. Bei mir im Lohnbetrieb ein bewährter Helfer bei feinerer Schlichtarbeit.
