Solid Carbide Corner Rounding End Mill for Aluminium - 4 Flutes
- Uncoated with extremely sharp cutting edges – prevents built-up edges on aluminium and non-ferrous metals
- 4-flute geometry for high feed rates and short cycle times during edge rounding
- Optimised for non-ferrous metals: aluminium, copper, brass and bronze
- Also suitable for machining plastics and wood
- Open chip flutes ensure reliable chip evacuation even on long milling paths
- Precision-ground quarter-circle profile for form-accurate radii and clean visible edges
- Solid carbide substrate for smooth running and low-vibration cutting on soft materials
- ALU series for companies that prioritise surface quality on non-ferrous metals, plastic and wood

Solid Carbide Corner Rounding End Mill for Aluminium - 4 Flutes
Aluminium, brass or copper do not tolerate dull cutting edges when rounding edges – the result is built-up edges, smeared surfaces and burr formation instead of clean radii. The solid carbide corner rounding end mill (inner corner radius end mill) of the ALU series addresses this problem: deliberately uncoated and equipped with extremely sharp ground cutting edges, the tool glides through non-ferrous metals without material adhering to the cutting edge. The result is burr-free, visually flawless edge roundings in a single operation – whether on aluminium housings, brass fittings or copper components. Plastics such as PMMA, POM or engineering thermoplastics as well as wood can also be rounded cleanly and tear-free with this radius cutter.
The four flutes made of solid carbide enable high table feed rates and noticeably reduce machining time per edge. Open chip flutes ensure that the long chips typical of aluminium and plastic are reliably evacuated instead of wrapping around the tool and damaging the surface. The precision-ground quarter-circle profile produces dimensionally accurate radii with high repeatability – a decisive advantage on visible edges of front panels, housings or covers, where any irregularity is immediately noticeable.
The ALU series is the right choice for all companies that expect clean radii and visible edges without rework on non-ferrous metals, plastics or wood.

Radien in Alu kein Problem
Der Viertelkreisfräser verrundet Alukanten in einem Zug sauber, keine Ausbrüche. In Messing und Kupfer läuft er ebenfalls ruhig, die Schneide bleibt klar.

Viertelkreis in Alu
Die Kantenverrundung kommt gleichmäßig sauber, auch bei kleinen Radien überzeugt der Fräser. Keine Auffälligkeiten bisher, auch die Standzeit ist erfreulich.

Viertelkreis in Alu sauber
Kanten werden formgenau verrundet. Bei Montageteilen aus Alu eine richtig gute Wahl. Rüsten schnell.
