The Turning Tool Holder SVVBN 72.5° is an ISO turning tool holder with screw clamping for external longitudinal and fine turning with positive 35° rhombic indexable inserts of the VB family (VBMT, VBGT) at a 72.5° approach angle. The SVVBN system uses screw clamping without top clamps and offers a balance between longitudinal turning and finishing requirements.
The screw clamping (S system) clamps axially through the centre hole and guarantees a precise radial insert seat. Tempering to 40-43 HRc and a black oxide finish make the holder load-bearing for medium cuts. The 72.5° approach angle offers a balance between stability and surface finish requirements. The positive 35° rhombic geometry with 5° clearance angle leads to a clean surface finish and a lower cutting force requirement. The absent top clamps allow a deeper plunge angle and a clear view of the workpiece contour. No explicit R/L definitions as standard.
The SVVBN 72.5° is the universal solution for external turning with positive 35° rhombic inserts (VBMT/VBGT) and screw clamping flexibility.

72-Grad-Halter konturfreundlich
Konturzugänglichkeit und Stabilität ausgewogen, sinnvolle Ergänzung zu meinen Standardhaltern. In meinem Mix aus Serienfertigung und Einzelstücken hat sich das Werkzeug als flexibel und zuverlässig erwiesen, Werkzeugstandzeit und Werkzeuggüte über die Anforderungen hinweg stabil.

Passt für spitze Rückzüge
Spitzwinkliger Halter kommt bei mir vor allem bei Konturrückzügen zum Einsatz. Gute Stabilität, kein Spiel.

Gute Konturzugänglichkeit mit stabilem Plattensitz vereint der Halter, VN-Platten kommen bei mir auch in engere Übergänge sauber.

Guter Halter, massiv gefertigt
Konturzugänglichkeit und Stabilität in einem, das war für meine Anwendung genau richtig. Klemmung hält sicher und der Halter wirkt massiv gefertigt, würde ich wieder bestellen. Die Platte sitzt spielfrei und bei meinen Schnittdaten läuft die Bearbeitung ohne Zicken.
