The SSSCR/L tool holder with a 45° approach angle is a stable turning holder for longitudinal and face turning with SC.. indexable carbide inserts in square geometry. The shallow approach angle makes this turning tool the preferred choice when high depths of cut with simultaneously minimal radial workpiece loading are required – particularly with slender turned parts or thin-walled components, the process benefits from the strongly axially oriented force introduction.
The 45° approach angle distributes cutting forces equally between the axial and radial directions, utilising a particularly long contact zone on the main cutting edge. This reduces the localised cutting edge load and has a positive effect on tool life. The square SC insert geometry offers four cutting edges per side, providing economical insert usage for light to medium turning operations. The body, made from heat-treated tool steel, delivers the rigidity for smooth cutting even at higher depths of cut. The screw clamping system secures the insert precisely and enables quick changes. Since SC indexable carbide inserts are available in numerous grades and chipbreaker geometries on the market, the holder can be flexibly adapted to various machining tasks.
The SSSCR/L is recommended for workshops that benefit from the stable cutting action of a 45° angle in longitudinal and face turning while relying on economical SC inserts with multiple cutting edges – particularly where radial forces need to be kept to a minimum.

Gutes Werkzeug
Laeuft bei mir ohne Probleme. Ordentliche Standzeit, sauberes Schnittbild. Gerade bei dem Preis echt eine runde Sache. Bin weiterhin zufrieden.

Passt auf der QT-200
Läuft bei mir auf einer Mazak QT-200 im Werkzeugbau. Der Sitz ist sauber gefertigt, die Klemmung zieht die Platte plan und bei Schlichtdurchgängen auf 1.2343 vorbehandelt bleibt der Schnitt ruhig. Für das Geld eine überraschend saubere Lösung.

Passt für die Planbearbeitung
Der Klemmhalter sitzt fest in der Aufnahme, bei 45-Grad-Einstellung läuft die SC-Platte sauber. Gute Aufteilung der Kräfte, Schrauben greifen zuverlässig auch nach mehreren Plattenwechseln.

Stabiler Drehhalter im Alltag
Längs- und Plandrehen läuft rund, Halter klemmt die Schneidplatte satt. Auf der Mazak QT-200 absolut ausreichend für meinen Alltag.

Klemmhalter 45 Grad Standard
Der Halter für Wendeschneidplatten bringt in Plan- und Längsdrehen in C45 konstante Ergebnisse, der Plattensitz bleibt auch nach mehreren Wechseln spielfrei.

Im Kern in Ordnung
Haltesitz und Plattenklemmung wirken solide, Werkzeug kam maßhaltig an. Im direkten Abgleich mit teureren Referenzen warte ich erstmal mehrere Chargen ab.

Macht genau was er soll
Klemmung rein, Platte drauf, läuft. So einfach sollte es immer sein, Preis-Leistung absolut im Rahmen.

Saubere Verarbeitung
45°-Halter mit Schraubklemmung, hält die Platte ohne Spiel. Gefällt mir für Planaufgaben sehr gut, Preis absolut fair.

Stabil und gut verarbeitet
Der SSSCR-Halter ist sauber verarbeitet und die Platte wird stramm geklemmt. Auch bei schwerer Bearbeitung bleibt alles ruhig. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
