The SSBCR/L tool holder with a 75° approach angle combines the stability of a square indexable carbide insert with the favourable cutting force distribution of a shallow approach angle – a robust turning tool for longitudinal and face turning under medium to heavy cutting conditions. Designed for all SC.. indexable carbide inserts, this tool holder provides access to a broad range of carbide grades and chipbreaker geometries.
The 75° approach angle directs a portion of the cutting forces axially into the shank, reducing the radial load on the holder and noticeably stabilising the cutting process at high depths of cut. At the same time, the shallower angle distributes the machining work over a longer contact zone on the main cutting edge – this reduces the localised cutting edge load and has a positive effect on tool life. The body, made from heat-treated tool steel, translates these design advantages into process reliability, even when cutting conditions become demanding. The square SC insert geometry, as a negative indexable carbide insert, provides four usable cutting edges and offers high fracture resistance through its compact, symmetrical form – even during interrupted cuts or varying stock allowances. The screw clamping system secures the insert precisely and enables quick changes, so work can resume immediately after indexing or replacing.
The SSBCR/L is particularly suitable for users who want to combine high depths of cut with economical insert usage during roughing and medium turning – four cutting edges per insert keep follow-up costs low.

Klemmhalter SB-Platten Plandrehen
Die SSBCR-Ausführung verbindet die Stabilität quadratischer S-Platten mit 75-Grad-Winkel, Schulterflanken kommen sauber bei mittleren Zustellungen.

In Ordnung
Der Klemmhalter ist solide gefertigt und tut im Alltag was er soll. Die mitgelieferten Schrauben sind okay, die Auflagefläche wirkt eingeschliffen. Für meinen Bedarf gut genug, aber noch ohne Langzeiterfahrung.

Quadratische Platte sitzt fest
Der Halter nutzt die SN-Wendeplatten zuverlässig aus, Schrauben greifen auch nach vielen Wechseln noch einwandfrei. Solides Werkzeug.

Schrupphalter mit 75 Grad
Der Klemmhalter verteilt die Kräfte gut, auch bei größeren Zustellungen kein Rattern. Sitz bleibt sicher, die Verarbeitung wirkt solide und der Plattenwechsel geht angenehm schnell. Für meinen Bedarf eine richtig gute Wahl.

Ordentlich verarbeitet
Halter sitzt sauber und läuft rund. Bei mir läuft es hauptsächlich in 100Cr6. Oberfläche wird ordentlich glatt, ordentliche Qualität. Gerade für die Einzelteil- und Kleinserienfertigung passt das gut. Verpackung war sauber, Ware ohne Mängel angekommen. Hatte vorher anderes Werkzeug und bin mit dem hier zufriedener. Für meinen Einsatz: würde ich das Werkzeug in der Klasse so auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Würde ich jederzeit wieder nehmen.

Klemmhalter solide für den Alltag
75°-Anstellung, passt für den Alltag. Klemmung hält die Platte ordentlich, Rundlauf ist sauber. Verarbeitung wirkt robust, für meine Serie gut geeignet.

Ordentlich fürs Plandrehen
Für gelegentliches Plandrehen reicht der Halter völlig aus und die Verarbeitung ist ordentlich. Passt für mich.

Drehstahl für 75° Standardaufgaben. Funktioniert zuverlässig, Wechsel schnell.

SB-Halter stabil
Für schwerere Zustellung in C45 ein verlässlicher Halter, keine Schwingungen im Dauerbetrieb. Seit der Aufnahme dieses Werkzeugs in meinen Bestand habe ich die Werkzeugkosten für die entsprechenden Aufträge merklich reduziert, ohne an Werkzeuggüte oder Werkzeugstandzeit zu verlieren.
