The MVQNR/L tool holder with a 117.5° approach angle is a turning holder for machining situations where radial forces must be reduced to a minimum – designed for all VN.. indexable carbide inserts with rhombic 35° geometry. This turning tool combines the contour accessibility of a pointed insert with the process stability of a strongly axially oriented approach angle and the clamping force of a lever clamping system.
The 117.5° approach angle directs the predominant portion of cutting forces axially towards the shank and chuck, while the radial component is significantly lower than with steeper holders. This predestines the MVQNR/L for turning long, slender shafts, thin-walled sleeves, or other workpieces where deflection and vibration compromise the process and dimensional accuracy. At the same time, the shallow angle distributes the cutting edge load over a long contact length, reducing the localised load per millimetre of cutting edge and resulting in longer tool life. The lever clamping system holds the VN insert securely even under heavy cutting conditions, leaving the rake face completely clear – a key factor for unobstructed chip evacuation when chip cross-sections vary. The 35° nose angle of the indexable carbide insert maintains a usable contour area that extends beyond pure longitudinal turning operations.
The MVQNR/L is recommended for workshops that need the reliability of a lever clamping system for force-sensitive turning operations while benefiting from the minimal radial force of the 117.5° angle.

Radial kaum Kraft
117,5 Grad bringen echt schonende Bearbeitung, radiale Kräfte kaum spürbar. Klemmung hält die Platte sicher.

Gut bei starken Radialkräften
Der spitzwinklige Halter kommt bei Rückzugsbewegungen gut klar. Plattenwechsel ohne Spiel, Aufnahme macht einen robusten Eindruck.

Klemmhalter 117,5 Grad spitzwinklig
Der spitze Halter-Winkel bringt bei engen Konturen und Rückzugsbewegungen mehr Sicherheit, das Werkzeug bleibt auch bei ungünstigen Lastangriffen ruhig.

VQ-Halter 117 Grad solide
Radialkräfte werden bei dem Einstellwinkel gering gehalten, gut für labile Werkstücke. Ein schöner Nischenhalter. Werkzeug hat mich durch die letzten Monate begleitet und sich als eine der verlässlichen Werkzeuglösungen in meinem Bestand etabliert. Werkzeuggüte und Werkzeugstandzeit sind stabil.

Klemmhalter VQ fair kalkuliert
Der Halter mit sehr flachem Einstellwinkel deckt eine Nische ab, Preis ist in Ordnung. Preis unterhalb der Marke, Leistung vergleichbar.

Kontur-Halter mit steilem Winkel
Für tiefe Konturen mit Hinterschnittbereichen ist der 117,5°-Halter gerade das richtige Werkzeug. Die Klemmschraube zieht die Platte sauber, kein Spiel erkennbar. Halter ist präzise gefräst, insgesamt wertig. Genau passend für unseren Fall.

Halter mit radialer Zustellung
Der 117,5° nimmt radiale Zustellung gut auf, Platte kippt nicht aus. Für Plandrehen mit viel Material ordentlich.

Für knifflige Geometrien eine Hilfe
Der Halter schafft auch ungewöhnliche Werkstückformen. Platte sitzt sicher, Kraft wird sauber übertragen. Rüstzeit ok.

Rettet bei Hinterschnitten in der Kontur
Der steile Winkel hat mich bei Freistichen wirklich gerettet. Sauberer Schnitt und der Halter steht stabil auch bei enger Konturabfahrt. Die Klemmung hält die Platte fest und wackelt nicht, bei meiner Arbeit in Kleinserien absolut passend und ich werde wieder bestellen.
