The MSBNR/L tool holder with a 75° approach angle is a heavy-duty turning holder for medium to heavy longitudinal and face turning with SN.. indexable carbide inserts. The combination of a shallow approach angle, square negative insert, and lever clamping makes this turning tool a robust workhorse for roughing operations where high metal removal rates and process reliability are the priority. The 75° approach angle directs a significant portion of the cutting forces axially into the shank, reducing the radial load on both the holder and workpiece. This stabilises the cutting process at high depths of cut and allows greater material removal per pass than steeper holders. The square SN insert geometry supports this approach with a long, load-bearing main cutting edge, and as a double-sided negative insert with up to eight cutting edges, it minimises tooling costs per component. The lever clamping system holds the insert securely even under heavy cutting conditions, leaving the rake face completely clear to ensure unobstructed chip evacuation even at high chip volumes. The body, made from heat-treated tool steel, provides the rigid foundation needed to fully exploit the performance of this approach angle and insert geometry combination.
The MSBNR/L is recommended for workshops that rely on a proven combination of lever clamping and square inserts for roughing, expecting greater depth of cut and smoother cutting from the 75° angle than from 45° or 90° holders.

Schwere Späne, kein Problem
Haben den Halter bei uns für Schrupparbeiten an Wellen aus 42CrMo4 im Einsatz gehabt. Auch bei knackigeren Zustellungen bleibt er ruhig, kein Rattern und keine Verfomung. Für die Preisklasse bekommt man hier wirklich ein brauchbares Werkzeug.

Zuverlässig beim Schruppen
Bei uns beim Längsdrehbearbeiten von Stahlwellen überzeugt der Halter durch spielfreie Klemmung und zuverlässige Wiederholgenauigkeit. Auch nach mehrfachem Plattenwechsel bleibt die Präzision erhalten. Wertig verarbeitet.

Robust und schwer belastbar
Der Klemmhalter bringt im schweren Längsdrehen die nötige Stabilität. Die SN-Platte sitzt bombenfest, keine Mikrobewegung beim Zustellen.

Drehhalter 75 Grad für schwere Spanquerschnitte
Den Halter für SN-Platten mit 75-Grad-Einstellung nutze ich auf einer Haas ST-30 bei Schruppbearbeitungen in 42CrMo4 seit mehreren Wochen. Die quadratische Platte sitzt bombenfest, auch bei 4 mm Schnitttiefe und 0,5 mm/U Vorschub bewegt sich nichts. Die Verarbeitung des Halters wirkt sehr wertig und die Wiederholgenauigkeit nach Plattenwechseln bleibt unverändert gut. Solide Wahl.

Solide ohne Glanz
Plattensitz und Klemmung wirken ordentlich, die Oberflächengüte der Fertigung könnte hier und da etwas feiner sein. Im Einsatz macht das aber bisher keinen Unterschied. Werkzeug arbeitet zuverlässig, die Werkzeugausführung der Schneiden zeigt über mehrere Wochen hinweg konstantes Verhalten. Der Werkzeugwechselzyklus hat sich in meiner Fertigung eingespielt.

Robuster Drehstahl
Schwerer Drehstahl, verarbeitet sich wie ein gutes Markenteil. auch unter Last kein Spiel bemerkbar.

Für die Werkstatt gut
Halter sitzt saubere und läuft rund. Gute Passgenauigkeit. Verarbeitung macht einen guten Eindruck. Für den Preis absolut in Ordnung. Lässt sich ordentlich einsetzen und handhaben. Unterm Strich: ich werde es auf jeden Fall weiter einsetzen. Werde ich nachbestellen.

Halter passt für unseren Einsatz
Der 75°-Halter eignet sich gut für meine gemischten Dreharbeiten, viel Einzelstücke mit Schulter und Plan. Der Halter hält gut, kein Spiel. Für Lohnfertiger im Alltag absolut brauchbar. Rüstzeit bleibt überschaubar weil die Platte sauber sitzt und das Wechseln unkompliziert ist.

Als Klemmhalter für die schwerere Längsbearbeitung ein fairer Preis, Plattenklemmung fest. Für Kleinbetriebe eine gute Wahl. Für das Budget top, für den Alltag ideal.
