The MDPNN tool holder with a 62.5° approach angle is a turning holder designed for roughing stability and depth of cut, suitable for all DN.. indexable carbide inserts with a rhombic 55° geometry. As a neutral turning tool, it works in both right-hand and left-hand rotation, combining the load capacity of a lever clamping system with one of the shallowest approach angles in the standard range.
The 62.5° approach angle directs the majority of cutting forces axially into the shank, keeping the radial component low – a decisive advantage when turning long, slender workpieces or thin-walled components where deflection and vibration compromise dimensional accuracy. At the same time, the very shallow angle distributes the cutting load over a particularly long contact zone, reducing the load per millimetre of cutting edge and increasing tool life. The lever clamping system generates high clamping forces and keeps the DN insert securely seated even during heavy machining and interrupted cuts, while leaving the rake face completely clear. The 55° insert geometry offers a good compromise: more stable than a 35° tip, more accessible than an 80° form – versatile from heavy roughing to near-contour work.
The MDPNN is recommended for workshops that need to achieve maximum depth of cut with minimum radial force using a neutral holder – particularly for unstable workpieces, long turning lengths, and applications where a single tool for both cutting directions simplifies the process.

Stark beim Schruppen
Der Halter macht beim Schruppen einen ordentlichen Job und verteilt die Kräfte auch bei größeren Zustelltiefen gut. Bin zufrieden.

Stabil auch bei Schrupp
Der Halter steckt einiges weg, auch bei größeren Schnitttiefen zeigt sich keine Bewegung am Werkzeug. Gute Wahl für Schruppbearbeitung.

Halter mit 62,5 Grad für schwere Zustellungen
Die 62,5-Grad-Einstellung bringt eine solide Basis für schwerere Schruppoperationen in Stahl, die Platten bleiben in der Aufnahme stabil auch bei 3 mm Schnitttiefe.

Plandrehhalter preiswert
Das Werkzeug für schweres Plandrehen ist robust gebaut und preislich attraktiv. Spart mir im Vergleich zur Marke merklich. Im kleinen Betrieb absolut ausreichend.

Der steilere Winkel passt für kernigere Schruppaufgaben, Halter hält die Platte sicher. Alles in Ordnung, Verarbeitung solide. Für meinen Einsatz genau richtig.

Zum Schruppen ideal
Stabiler Drehhalter mit viel Fleisch, hält auch höhere Zustelltiefen aus. Im C45 keine Probleme auch bei Vollkontakt, da merkt man dass das Ding gut gemacht ist.

Für schwere Schrupparbeit
Belastbarer Halter für kräftige Zustellungen, den ich gerne bei harten Reparaturdurchgängen einsetze. Die Platte sitzt sicher, Grundkörper ist massiv. Preis fair.

Guter Schruppdrehstahl
Hab den Halter für schwere Schruppschnitte bestellt. Sitzt bombenfest, Nachziehen ist nicht nötig und auch bei größeren Zustellungen merk ich keine Auslenkung. Für die Klasse eine gute Wahl.

Plandrehhalter 62 Grad solide
Für schwereres Plandrehen wirklich ein kräftiger Halter, Platte wird sauber geklemmt, nichts rutscht. Hab früher einen etwas teureren Halter genutzt, sehe keinen Unterschied in der Stabilität.

Stabil beim Schruppen
Den MDPNN setze ich für Schrupparbeiten ein und er macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Kein Flattern, auch bei größerer Zustellung. Verarbeitung passt, Kühlmittel kommt sauber an die Schneide.
