The MCMNN tool holder is a versatile indexable insert holder for external turning with rhombic CN indexable carbide inserts, particularly suited for longitudinal, copy, and profile machining operations. Depending on the variant, an approach angle of 50° (MCMNN-80) or 40° (MCMNN-100) is available – both versions are designed for good contour accessibility and clean chip evacuation during near-contour turning operations. The specific material application is determined by the selected indexable carbide insert; the turning tool itself imposes no limitations.
The lever mechanism clamps the indexable carbide insert positively in the insert seat, ensuring reproducible seating with quick insert changes without readjustment. Heat-treated tool steel as the body material provides the rigidity that reduces vibration tendency under varying loads and longer overhangs, thereby protecting the tool life of the inserted indexable carbide insert. The shallow approach angle generates a broad chip distribution along the cutting edge length, which reduces point loading on the cutting edge and promotes uniform wear.

Soweit brauchbar
Den Klemmhalter nutze ich hauptsächlich für Plandrehen in Stahl, soweit läuft alles ordentlich. Endgültig kann ich noch nichts sagen, warte erstmal weitere Serien ab.

Klemmhalter brauchbar
Der Klemmhalter macht was er soll. Der Sitz könnte minimal präziser sein, aber für den Preis ist das noch absolut im Rahmen.

Stabile Außendrehbearbeitung
Der Klemmhalter eignet sich gut für Außendrehen mit den Platten. Die Klemmung hält sauber, auch bei schwereren Schnittkräften bleibt alles in Position.

CMNN-Halter vielseitig
Als Klemmhalter rautenförmige Platten, stabiler Sitz, Plattenwechsel geht zügig. Ein ehrlicher Halter ohne Mätzchen. Seit der Aufnahme dieses Werkzeugs in meinen Bestand habe ich die Werkzeugkosten für die entsprechenden Aufträge merklich reduziert, ohne an Werkzeuggüte oder Werkzeugstandzeit zu verlieren.

Neutrales Plandrehen passt gut
Für beidseitiges Plandrehen eine wirklich praktische Lösung. Halter sitzt ruhig und bietet genug Stabilität auch bei größeren Durchmessern, keine Beanstandungen.

Insgesamt okay
Qualität passt soweit. Ordentliche Schärfe, kein Aufbauen an der Schneide. Gerade bei dem Preis echt eine runde Sache. Funktioniert, mehr kann ich nach der kurzen Zeit noch nicht sagen.

Kompakte Drehstahl-Lösung
Der Halter sitzt, die Platte klemmt sauber, das Schnittbild passt auch bei längeren Durchgängen.

Ganz in Ordnung
Verarbeitung ist okay, Platte sitzt. Noch nicht lange im Einsatz, daher kann ich zur Langzeitqualität noch nichts sagen. Erster Eindruck ist aber positiv.
