Solid Carbide Corner Rounding End Mill PRO - 4 Flutes
If you need a solid carbide corner rounding end mill (inner corner radius end mill) that reliably rounds not only steel and cast iron but also stainless steel, you need more than a standard coating. The PRO series addresses this with its TiSiN nanocomposite coating: the titanium silicon nitride forms an extremely hard and thermally stable protective layer that effectively delays flank wear even at the elevated cutting temperatures of stainless steels. This radius cutter thus covers ISO groups P, M and K with a single tool – edge rounding, radius production and deburring of component edges works as reliably on stainless steel as on quenched and tempered steel or cast iron.
The four flutes made of tough solid carbide enable high table feed rates and noticeably shorten machining time per edge. At the same time, the low friction of the TiSiN coating reduces heat input into the tool – a decisive advantage with stainless steel, which tends to work-harden and wears conventional coatings faster. The precision-ground quarter-circle profile produces form-accurate radii with high repeatability, eliminating manual rework on the rounded contours.

Klare Empfehlung
Fraeser macht eine saubere Oberfläche. Sauberes Schnittbild. Würde ich jederzeit wieder nehmen.

Verrundungen gelingen auch im Edelstahl
Die PRO-Version schafft auch in 1.4301 saubere Bauteilradien ohne dass die Kante ausbricht. Die Oberfläche kommt gleichmäßig, der Radius bleibt definiert und das Werkzeug läuft ruhig. Ordentliche Anschaffung für feine Arbeiten.

Verrundung klappt
Kantenverrundung in Edelstahl geht, aber man muss vorsichtig mit Vorschub sein. Für den Preis passt es, bin halbwegs zufrieden.

Viertelkreisfräser PRO für Edelstahl
Der Viertelkreisfräser verrundet bei uns Kanten an Edelstahlbauteilen in 1.4571 sauber in einem Durchgang, Nachbearbeitung entfällt bei R2 bis R5 vollständig.

Torusfräser mit sauberem Eckenradius
Eckenradius passt genau, hält im Einsatz gut durch. Für Bodenabsätze und Taschenfräsen eine solide Wahl. Lauf ist ruhig, Oberfläche wird ordentlich.

Viertelkreisfräser wirklich gut
Saubere Kantenverrundung, kein Ruckeln beim Eintauchen. Für die Feinbearbeitung eine echte Bereicherung im Werkzeugkasten.

Viertelkreisfräser PRO fair
Der VHM-Viertelkreisfräser in PRO-Variante ist für gehärteten Einsatz ausgelegt, preislich gerechtfertigt. Das Werkzeug ist für die Werkstatt mit knappem Budget eine echte Alternative zu den teureren Markenwerkzeugen, die Werkzeugausführung bleibt im Alltag wertig und die Werkzeugkosten sind deutlich niedriger.

Verrundet sauber im Edelstahl
R3 Version im Edelstahl eingesetzt, Rundung wird definiert ohne Nachpolieren. Schneiden halten gut. Lief bei mir auf der Hermle problemlos mehrere Wochen.
