SNGG carbide inserts for aluminium
The SNGG carbide inserts with N1 chip breaker are specially designed for the precise and economical machining of aluminium and other non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass and bronze. Their sharp and stable cutting edges ensure excellent machining quality and enable perfectly smooth surfaces with minimal post-processing effort.
Thanks to the innovative wave-shaped geometry of the chip troughs, the cutting force is significantly reduced, making the panels ideal for finishing and medium machining tasks. The large rake angle ensures effective chip evacuation, even with high feeds or complex workpiece contours.
The polished surface effectively minimizes the formation of built-up cutting edges and thus extends tool life. In combination with the recommended cutting material grade TT4305, you benefit from an optimal balance between wear resistance and cut quality, resulting in a significant increase in cost-effectiveness.
