The solid carbide milling cutter ECO series is a high-quality and economical choice for general steel processing. These ECO series cutters are particularly cost-effective and are ideal for materials with a hardness of <1,400 N/mm² and are ideal for machining materials such as mild and alloy steel, cast steel and other common metals.
We use aluminum titanium nitrite (AlTiN for short) as a coating for our ECO series. This coating has a very high hot hardness and oxidation resistance, which ensures a longer service life and greater tool stability. The maximum application temperature is 900 °C, which gives you the opportunity to work even in demanding applications.
