Solid drills, also known as indexable insert drills or U-drills, are hole machining tools that combine an inner and an outer blade. Common types are WC and SP types, with the WC type being used for through holes and the SP type being used for blind holes. The cutting body has a chip breaker, an internal cooling system and a water outlet. Our indexable insert drills are hardened, cryogenically treated and nickel coated to fully exploit their high performance.
