CNMG-M3 Indexable Inserts for Stainless Steel
The CNMG-M3 indexable insert in grade TT2225 is the robust and universally applicable solution for machining stainless steel, ranging from roughing to semi-finishing. Its state-of-the-art AlTiSi-based nanocomposite PVD coating combines extreme hardness, strong oxidation resistance, and excellent thermal stability, ensuring consistently reliable performance even at high cutting speeds.
The very low coefficient of friction reduces built-up edge formation, resulting in stable chip flow and improved surface quality. The specially developed M3 chipbreaker ensures controlled chip breaking and secure chip evacuation, even under higher cutting forces. Grade TT2225 provides a balanced ratio of wear resistance and toughness, making the CNMG-M3 extremely process-secure even in interrupted cuts.
